Good news: The next round of Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) funding is open for submissions with a deadline of June 26, 2025. This popular federal grant program supports local, regional, and Tribal initiatives to prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries, inclusive of large road projects.

According to a statement shared by the U.S. Department of Transportation on March 31, 2025: “More than $982 million is made available by this NOFO, and a similar amount is expected to be available next year in a future funding round.”
