Walking Kentucky

Walking to improve my health? Tell me more I screamed! It wasn’t long after the initial idea that
walking improves my memory and overall self that I decided it was for ME! It suddenly became an
involuntary action of grabbing my tennis shoes and start walking!

Now comes the good part. The introduction of Walk Kentucky. Walk Kentucky is the best way to get
out and away from the pandemic. Clear your mind, ease into the day or leave a difficult moment
behind. So, walk with us to a better YOU!

This initiative only requires a few things from you. “Like” the Bike Walk Kentucky Facebook or Instagram
pages, post your favorite photo snapped during your walk, tell us what county you are in and how many
steps you want to log. You can log them daily, weekly, monthly or whatever suits you.

According to the Kentucky Almanac, our state is 417 miles long from East to West. We want to see how
many times we can make that journey together in 2021. Now don’t think you have to stay in your
county. Don’t be shy, there are 120 counties in Kentucky that are calling your name to visit.

We would be remiss not to suggest staying six feet away from other walkers. We need you healthy and
ready for our next challenge!

Of course, you don’t have to be from Kentucky – but you are welcome to come and visit. We love
company!
