Bike Walk Kentucky is proud to participate in the 2024 GoodGiving Challenge, an annual online giving campaign hosted by the Blue Grass Community Foundation from December 3 to December 6. This event is our only fundraiser of the year, and we rely on the generosity of supporters like you to continue our vital work.
Our all-volunteer board is dedicated to making Kentucky safer, healthier, and more accessible for walking and biking. With your help, we can keep organizing impactful initiatives, such as the Bike Walk Kentucky Summit, advocacy, and health and safety collaborations which bring together advocates, policymakers, and community leaders to drive transformative change across the state.
Why Your Donation Matters
Bike Walk Kentucky’s mission is to promote active transportation and recreation while advocating for safer streets. Your contribution during the GoodGiving Challenge directly supports our key objectives, including:
- Education: Providing resources and training on pedestrian and bicycle safety to schools, communities, and government leaders.
- Advocacy: Partnering with policymakers to expand bike-friendly and pedestrian-friendly infrastructure.
- Tourism: Organizing programs like the Bike Walk Kentucky Summit and the Kentucky Cycling Challenge to inspire action and collaboration across the state.
- Health & Safety: Helping Kentucky communities develop trails, bike lanes, and walking paths that enhance connectivity and quality of life.
With your support, we can continue to make a meaningful impact across the Commonwealth.
